Brook House

Brook House is a 3 bedroom home in the Pennines just outside of Halifax.

Brook House provides residential care for 2 young people aged between 7 and 17 years of age of either gender.

Unfortunately, the home cannot accommodate young people with mobility disabilities due to the bedrooms being on the first floor.

Communal Living Spaces

Downstairs the home is opened planned with lounge, dining room and kitchen, providing the opportunity for an interactive environment. This open plan communal space can also be divided. Trifold doors have been installed to provide separate spaces in the downstairs living area.

Private Bedrooms

The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 of these for the use of young people and the other bedroom is combined as the staff office and staff sleep in room.

Close To Nature

Leading from the lounge is a large patio area fenced on all sides, with a babbling brook below.

The Heart of the Home

The home is nicely decorated and furnished, and the young people will be involved with the decision making of the future decorating of the home plus personalising their own bedrooms.

There is ample parking for three cars at the front of the property.

Brook House will offer emergency admissions upon request subject to the admission criteria

Brook house has access to the local gym and leisure facilities, snooker clubs and sports clubs. Staff at Brook View will assist the young people to maintain current hobbies and explore new hobbies such as rock climbing, horse riding, rambling etc.
